Dear Professor Ganapathy-Coleman,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing with regard to your recent event, In the Quiet of Everyday Life. The thematic focus and tone of the gathering conveyed a thoughtful and affirming energy—one that speaks to the dignity and emotional resonance of lived experience within diasporic communities. It was both timely & deeply meaningful.

In light of this, I wish to inquire about your protocols for engaging with community partners. The subject matter—everyday experiences of Indo-Pakistani community members—has long been an area of sustained interest within our own work. As it happens, our organization is currently developing a project that seeks to highlight shared aspirations across these communities, and we encountered your event in the course of that research.

We would welcome the opportunity to better understand your approach, with a view to identifying potential areas of alignment or mutual reinforcement. If there are established frameworks or procedures through which such engagement might be explored.

I wish you all the best for the event & initiative. We look forward to the possibility of dialogue.

Sincerely,
Gopala Krishna
